Evelyn from the Internets

Evelyn is a humor writer, digital storyteller, producer, and speaker based in Austin, Texas. She joined YouTube back in 2008, and today her channel has about 13 million views and 205,000 subscribers. She makes a grab bag of content, from travel vlogs and silly beauty guru-esque tutorials to funny first generation American stories and Black pop culture commentary. In 2017, she was a YouTube Creators For Change fellow, and received a grant to produce positive content that makes our world a better place. Naturally, she chose to talk to a puppet and wear a wig. She currently co-hosts and writes Say It Loud, a PBS Digital Studios show about Black histories and cultures. You can follow her on Instagram at @evelynfromtheinternets.

Davia Roberts (facilitator)

Meet Davia Roberts, a licensed mental health therapist, certified yoga teacher, and meditation facilitator. To say she's into wellness would be a major understatement. Her WOC centric work has made her a recognized expert in the mental health and wellness field. She created and hosted the AFFIRM podcast, which has been featured in publications like Bustle, MadameNoire, and Black Enterprise for its popularity among listeners seeking practical mental health resources. Her passion for educating communities about mental health in a humorous and relatable way has made her a nationally sought after workshop facilitator and keynote speaker.

Cynthia Muñoz (moderator)

BBATX board member Cynthia Muñoz was born and raised in Austin, TX. Under the name Cindy Popp, she creates visual art inspired by fashion editorials, makeup artists on Instagram, B movies, clowns, and comedy. She has a professional and personal passion for community engagement, gender equality, and diversity & inclusion. She lives on the east side with her husband and cat where they collect clocks, VHS, and novelty drinkware. She listens to Rihanna nearly every day. You can follow her on Instagram at @cindy.popp.
