THE LINEUP
Organizer + Host
Megan Baker of Coterie Creative Commons
Founded by experiential and architectural designer Megan Baker, Coterie exists to make creativity communal โ transforming everyday environments into living rooms for Austinโs art community. Through a series of rotating pop-up art cafรฉs, workshops, and gatherings, Coterie invites people to slow down, make something with their hands, and share in the process of creation.
Each activation is an experiment in belonging: a place to play, learn, and connect with local artists while rediscovering the joy of making. Rooted in design, hospitality, and community care, Coterie is reimagining how we experience art โ not as a spectator, but as a participant.

PREPARE YOUR VISIT TO CARPENTER HOTEL
400 Josephine Street is the historic site of the Carpenters Local 1266 Union Hall, built in 1948, and its original building serves as the heart and entrance of the hotel. The hotel is nestled in an old pecan grove on the edge of Zilker Park in South Austin. Itโs an easy walk to Lady Bird Lake, downtown, and central to everything worth doing.
WHERE TO PARK: There is street parking surrounding the hotel that is metered by the city. Additionally, we have a 15-minute check-in spot located right out front on Josephine St.
