MEET THE SPEAKERS & SPECIAL GUESTS
DJ Dana Scully (she/her) is a vinyl DJ based in Austin, TX, and the founder of the Queer Vinyl Collective, a community dedicated to uplifting queer artists and fostering inclusive music experiences. Dana’s distinctive style blends genres like disco, pop, and hip-hop, creating vibrant, immersive sets that captivate and energize diverse audiences. Through her work in the Queer Vinyl Collective, she actively cultivates opportunities for aspiring DJs, helping them refine their skills and connect with new listeners. With active residencies throughout Austin, Dana curates spaces where music, diversity, and community intersect, ensuring the local music scene remains accessible and inclusive for all.
Ryan (she/her) is a glass artist with over 25 years of experience transforming molten glass into vibrant, functional works of art.
Based in Austin, she’s the co-founder of Clover + Maven, a women-led collective that supports over 100 local women and LGBTQIA+ makers. Her work blends natural forms, bold color, and a touch of whimsy—designed to spark curiosity, invite joy, and remind us of the beauty in everyday moments.
Through both her art and her collective, Ryan is passionate about building community and providing a platform for other creatives to shine.
Lexi Bruner (she/her) is an author and poet who leverages her storytelling to amplify her mission to disrupt power structures, advocate for social justice, and amplify diverse stories. As someone who was born and raised in Austin, Texas, the local dynamics and cultural institutions have colored her approach to art and storytelling—her poetry and prose are heavily influenced by her identity as a queer, Black, and Latinx woman in these spaces.
When she’s not exploring themes of identity, culture, power, and healing in her intersectional writing, you can find Lexi “hiking” around town, knitting, baking, binding books, reading, or rewatching a comfort anime that has a 90% chance of making her cry.
Lexi is represented by Felice Laverne of ArtHouse Literary Agency.
Marianna Segura (she/her) of Earth Commons
