WHAT TO EXPECT
Welcome to Sustain Frameโs inaugural Salon experience during SXSW in Austin. Presented in collaboration with Future Front, eleMINT Skin and Plan C, this yearโs topic of interest is Sex Education and Sex Health.
Through intimate conversations and creative experiences, we will explore and redefine the power of our bodies beyond the dominant narratives of sex education. The salonโs activities include:
Tarot Reading by Mak Jagger โ Includes three card tarot pulls to offer insights to enhance your exploration of intimacy or sexual identity & a special gift from Wonderlust
โI Love Meโ Photobooth session with Minkmade โ Guests will have an intimate photo session with our photographer and see themselves in a sexy and powerful new light (all who participate will receive 4 photo edits)
A refresher DJ set by Future Front resident artist Clancy Jones
An interactive living altar and breathwork experience by Jesus Garcia
Consultations from Funk It Wellness
Flower and Food installation in collaboration with Fielding Floral & Sustain Frame
Beverages provided by Parch and Carabuena Tequila
Visual Displays from Future Front resident artist Heart of Goo & Pretty Shitty Cakes
Sexual health resources and materials from Plan C & The Nue Co.

WHERE TO PARK: This event is downtown during SXSWโstreet parking and surrounding public garages are available, but limited. Please plan to carpool and/or rely on public transportation for easiest entry!
IMPORTANT COMMUNITY NOTES + GUIDELINES โ
All FFTX staff, volunteers and guests will be required to practice mutual respect, as well as demonstrate an alignment with Future Frontโs guidelines and values.
All Future Front sessions are currently held online, outdoors or in open-air spaces where quality air flow is possible, ADA compliance is prioritized and assisted mobility devices can be utilized.
All Future Front sessions follow capacity limits to reduce crowding of any kind.
All guests are required to practice mutual respect and social distancing, as well as follow APHโs COVID-19 Guidelines, which currently include:
At all levels, people can wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by their personal level of risk.
People with COVID-19 symptoms and/or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should not participate in an in-person Future Front event or visit a Future Front location until they test negative and/or they are no longer at risk.
People with a positive COVID-19 test and/or not fully vaccinated should not participate in an in-person Future Front event or visit a Future Front location until they test negative and/or they are fully vaccinated and no longer at risk.
