Becoming Your Best Vendor: A craftHER Market Panel

One of our goals with craftHER Market is to connect the creators in our community with customers, collaborators and ultimately other humans who respect the work they create.  For this reason, craftHER Market is also a day to discover resources, learn from each other and talk about what it means to make.

At 1:00 PM on Oct. 23, we'll host a Q&A with:

Rebecca Anne Ruiz β€” Poco A Poco, Midweek Market, Second Saturday Marketplace, Mimosa Marketplace

Lisa Nelson β€” Curator of West Elm Austin's pop-up shops

Jane Claire β€” Co-founder at GFLN, founder at #bossbabesATX

Throughout the talk, the speakers will speak to their experience curating markets (both big and small), how they got started and what they look for in a vendor. This talk is free, hosted inside Fair Market (so, open to the public!) and does not require an RSVP. Join us!

Meet the Speakers:

Lisa Nelson: Lisa moved to Austin 9 years ago from Corpus Christi to pursue a life of big city. She began her career with West Elm in the summer of 2013. That year, she was given the challenge of reaching out to the Local community to host makers in the store. She has since partnered with over 100 local makers to host pop up shops and community events within the walls of West Elm Austin. She loves to see makers succeed and is enthusiastic about entrepreneurial endeavors. She is currently enrolled in a Bachelors in Business program with Western Governors University.
