Open Sounds: Healing Studio

Welcome to Future Front’s fourth edition of “Open Sounds,” a limited series exploring the healing power of sound and music at The Future Front House.
For this session, join wellness practitioner Sara Palma for a summer solstice sound bath and meditation session in our latest exhibit. Designed as a healing studio for independent artists and creatives, this session will focus on supporting inner voice and expression.

WHAT TO EXPECT
6:00 PM ★ Doors open.
6:30 PM ★ Sound bath and guided meditation begins. Bring a yoga mat. Your experience will be seated. (Late arrivals cannot be seated after 6:15 PM.)
7:30 PM ★ Hang around after the session to explore our current art show and transition into the rest of your evening.

about the instructor
Sara Palma
Artist · Graphic Designer · Kundalini Yoga Teacher
Born in Yakima, Washington, and raised in the vibrant heart of Mexico City, Sara Palma (she/her) is a multidisciplinary creative and devoted spiritual practitioner. As an artist, graphic designer, and certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, Sara blends creativity with consciousness to support individual and collective transformation.
Sara’s purpose is to bring light into the lives of others—our loved ones and all those seeking to walk a path of healing, growth, and self-discovery. Guided by the wisdom of the Golden Chain, she believes in offering tools that empower us to navigate life’s challenges with grace and awareness.
Since 2020, Sara has immersed herself in the study of Kundalini Yoga under the guidance of esteemed teachers including Andrea Maria, Harijiwan, Mandev, Shabadpreet, and most recently, Shakti Sita.
Sara offers a variety of healing experiences including:
• Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
• Sound Healing
• Cacao Ceremonies
Her offerings are infused with love, intention, and the deep belief that spiritual practice can uplift, inspire, and transform.

The Future Front House is located at 1900 E. 12th Street. From soil to cement, the 1940s building has a long history that precedes us (including its first owner Vera Barton and the We Rise mural).

As Future Front strives to be a good neighbor, we also discourage the use of tobacco products on the property of nearby businesses and residences, to improve air quality, throughout our events.
Tobacco use and electronic smoking device use are not permitted at any time within Future Front properties and event spaces at least 15 ft from entrances, exits, operational windows, or ventilation system intake vents.
Littering of tobacco-related products on the grounds or parking lots is also prohibited.
Concealed or open weapons and firearms (including handguns) are not allowed at any Future Front venues.
