Join us at The Future Front House on Thursday, October 19 for a candid conversation between arts and culture org, The Gallery ATX, and Austin-based artist Sydney Parks.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Sydney Parks is an interdisciplinary artist who works at the intersection of virtual and physical space. In this talk Sydney will delve into her artistic evolution and creative process covering themes that have inspired her work, including embodiment and the human relationship with technology. She will also discuss her journey as an arts educator and current projects.

All Future Front sessions follow capacity limits to reduce crowding of any kind.
All guests are required to practice mutual respect and social distancing, as well as follow APHโs COVID-19 Guidelines, which currently include:
At all levels, people can wear a mask based on personal preference, informed by their personal level of risk.
People with COVID-19 symptoms and/or exposure to someone with COVID-19 should not participate in an in-person Future Front event or visit a Future Front location until they test negative and/or they are no longer at risk.
People with a positive COVID-19 test and/or not fully vaccinated should not participate in an in-person Future Front event or visit a Future Front location until they test negative and/or they are fully vaccinated and no longer at risk.
