MEET OUR LINEUP:

Using the structures of music as mediums in her multi-media universe, Juliana Huxtable (Bryan, Texas) is a DJ and musician singular in her approach. Where her visual art and poetry navigate the complexification of desire in a life increasingly mediated by technology, her music utilizes the sounds of technology itself to construct parallel realities to be inhabited and embodied in rhythm and harmonic tableaux.

Her sets skillfully deploy the notion of sampling, and re-blogging as DJ strategies, ecstatically mixing an array of influences that frolic at the boundary of genre- intuition and experimentation. At once an assertion of freedom and an ode to the evolutionary structure of electronic music subcultures, she aspires to the sublime in what can often only be described as witchcraft behind the decks; seance from the stage.

MATTIE (Dallas) is a mirror. She is an oracle of the SOL, and a watchperson over the keys to liberation guiding your experience via modalities of introspective visuals, lyrical self-inquiry, melody/harmony, experimental instrumentation, movement, meditation, and performance art.

Belial (Houston) is the stage name of multidisciplinary artist and musician Matty Zarate. Their works explore themes of autonomy, spirituality, ritual and technology, and how the marriage of the cybernetic and organic worlds have have shaped the performance of modern transgender identity.

PREPARE YOUR VISIT TO SOUND GARDEN AT THE FUSEBOX FESTIVAL HUB

Distribution Hall is located at 1500 E 4th St, Austin, TX 78702—and operates as an event space and production studio. Originally constructed to house Austin's first German beer importer, this thoughtfully restored mid-century structure now features a 7,000 sq-ft studio warehouse, a 3,000 sq-ft open-air hangar, and a beautiful 7,500 sq-ft courtyard and lawn.

WHERE TO PARK: Distribution Hall is located in the heart of East Austin. There's City street parking, as well as parking in surrounding neighborhoods. We always recommend carpooling and/or utilizing public transportation, if you can, though, to be conscious of traffic and congestion for our neighbors and vendors! There's also bus stop nearby.
