Join #bossbabesATX for The Bullock Museum's new program Femme Film Fridays, a film series highlighting the cinematic works of women, both behind and in front of the camera, as part of our festival programming BABES FEST. For the sixth event in this program on Friday June 2, 2017, come out for a screening of Obvious Child. Included with your ticket is a 6:00 p.m. welcoming reception with a cash bar, a pre-feature screening of Anu Valia's short film, Lucia, Before and After, a screening of Obvious Child and a closing Q&A with Elizabeth Mims, writer/director and Senior Film Program Director at the Austin Film Festival, and Amber Bixby, comedian and writer.
*Entrance for this screening will be at the IMAX Lobby doors.
About Obvious Child: Directed and co-written by Gillian Robespierre, Obvious Child stars Jenny Slate and tells the story of a twenty-something forced to confront the realities of independent womanhood for the first time.
