On May 26, we'll be celebrating two years. That's two years of #bossbabesATX meets, one year of BABES FEST, six months of craftHER Market. That's 75+ events in the Austin area in the last 48 months. That's more than 15,000 folks coming through to support self-identifying women in creative industry, business and the arts.

We grew out of need and we're now a nonprofit institution with year-round programming, coalition-building services and a big vision: We want to make quality space, time and programming for the development of a sustainable community/creative infrastructure, one that adequately supports and promotes self-identifying women. We take a novel approach to community and conversation—we focus on meeting people where they are and fostering discussion face-to-face (whether that's in a bar, a coffee shop or while we're dancing our booties off to Princess Nokia). And after witnessing the F'in strength and willpower that women (of all sexualities, backgrounds, ethnicities, sizes and industries) have shared at our events, we're committed to a constant examination of sexual, racial and economic equality—whether that's through our SHE TALKS programming, our STATE OF THE UTERUS fundraisers, our meet-ups, BABES FEST or craftHER Market.

At this fundraiser, your donation will support the accommodations we need to make as a result of the unprecedented growth we've seen over the last two years. We need to hire full-time staff (we're currently run by a volunteer committee, a volunteer board and one part-timer) and acquire a space if we're going to continue doing what we do—and doing it well. TBH, we love the state of Texas and we know it's up to us to hold her down. We will keep going. So, thank you for joining us on this journey. We're grateful for your support, trust and vigilance.
