About Heather Labus: Heather has over 10 years of experience in accounting and tax preparation. She has worked with companies in industries such as manufacturing, retail, housing, and publishing. While working on a contract with the Housing Authority of the City Los Angeles she had an opportunity to move to Austin and pursue another career path. She quickly found herself as a business owner and contract accountant serving the needs of star- ups and small businesses beyond accounting. Her expertise lies in her ability to identify process inefficiencies and write extensive employee handbooks and procedures.
